The Mercedes Benz M Class was launched in the year 1997 as a 1998 model and was a big hit in the US and Mexico. The model got used in a Hollywood movie- The Lost World: Jurassic Park- before the commercial launch and received immense popularity. That, in fact, contributed to the gala success of the mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV). This world acclaimed compact SUV had stepped in India in the year 2009 and brought same kind of success here as well.
